Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I studied sustainable synthetic fabrics at NYU. I started making these bags as part of my senior project and gave a few out to my friends. I think of myself as an artist/ engineer at the intersection of fashion and sustainability. All bags are made from recycled materials. “Put good stuff in them and take bad stuff out of the ocean.”
